Which Spokane IT companies offer 24/7 cybersecurity?
Four of the six Spokane IT companies in our review claim round-the-clock security monitoring: BCA, Design I.T. Solutions, Executech and Nuvodia. All six cover the security basics, such as endpoint protection, email filtering, patching and backup. Where they differ is who watches for threats overnight, whether they offer penetration testing, and which security partners they name.
That's the short answer. The rest of this page shows what each firm offers, what every plan should include, and what to ask before you sign.

Security in one line
Every firm protects you during business hours. Fewer can tell you who is watching at 2 a.m.
Baseline security is in nearly every plan: endpoint protection, email filtering, patching, multi-factor sign-in and backup.
24/7 monitoring, managed detection and response (MDR) and penetration testing are where the market splits.
The firm’s answers about who handles an alert matter more than the logos on its website.
What every plan should include
Whichever firm you choose, expect these in the monthly plan:
Endpoint protection on every computer, managed and updated by the firm
Email filtering to stop phishing and malware before it reaches staff
Patching of Windows, Microsoft 365 and common software on a schedule
Multi-factor sign-in on email and remote access
Firewall management at your office
Backups that are tested, not just running. Ask when a restore was last checked.

Runs it or resells it?
Many IT companies deliver 24/7 monitoring through a specialist partner rather than their own overnight staff. That is not a bad thing: a good partner can watch alerts more closely than a small local team. What matters is that you know who is watching, and who acts when something is found.
Ask every firm on your shortlist:
Who watches security alerts overnight and on weekends: your staff or a partner?
When an alert fires at night, who can isolate a computer or lock an account, and how fast?
Is penetration testing done by your team or by an outside tester?
Will you help us through an audit, or only supply the tools?
If you have your own IT person, a firm can add 24/7 monitoring on top of their work. See when co-managed IT makes sense.
How to decide
Start with your risk. If you handle patient records, card payments or defense work, you need more than the baseline. Clinics should also read IT for Spokane medical offices.
Decide if you need 24/7 cover. If a break-in overnight would stop your business, put round-the-clock monitoring on your list.
Ask the questions above and get the answers in writing.
Check the claims. Partner levels and compliance audits should name who issued them.
Bottom line
Every Spokane IT company we reviewed covers the security basics. If you need round-the-clock monitoring or penetration testing, your shortlist gets shorter. Whoever you choose, find out who watches alerts overnight and who acts on them, and get it in writing.
